How to Make a Regular Phone Hygienic

If you own a regular phone, you can attempt to keep it sanitary, but it won’t be as simple as it is with a hygienic phone.
Regular phones are sensitive to moisture and will malfunction or outright break if you try to wash them. Rubbing them with a dry cloth isn’t recommended either, as touchscreens are sensitive to friction, and will lose sensitivity over time when treated roughly.
The best you can do is to use a microfiber cloth to wipe away any dirt on the surface. If you want to try and remove germs and bacteria, you can dilute alcohol with distilled water and place a few drops on the microfiber cloth. Never apply any liquid directly on the phone, as the smallest amount of liquids can cause damage.
Another solution would be to buy a waterproof case and wash the phone with that instead. It might not be the most convenient solution, but it does work.
