Official Sonim XP8 Accessories
No accessories can pair with the XP8 better than original Sonim products. The brand produces battery replacements, holsters, and chargers to secure your device and prolong its lifetime.
Holsters and Cases
Sonim offers a selection of native cases and holsters for even better protection of your XP8. The Sonim holster with a swivel clip features custom construction that supports the handset and provides instant access via a quick-release latch. Sonim’s unique belt clip rotates in all directions and can be locked to straps and belts up to 2.25 inches in width. Its rugged polycarbonate body is designed to handle active daily use in temperatures from -4 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. The holster comes with a one-year manufacturer’s warranty.
Apart from holsters, Sonim offers custom premium leather pouches for an elegant protection solution for the device. Unlike regular leather, this pouch is bonded with polymers for utmost durability, and dust and dirt resistance. The case covers the screen but not the quick-access buttons, thus doesn’t slow down your workflow. An innovative D-ring clip enables you to carry the XP8 attached to your belt. Finally, the pouch has an elastic strap to hold a pen or a stylus.
If you’re looking for a pouch that provides even quicker access to all features, Sonim has a fitted case that doesn’t cover the screen. Polymer and bonded leather offer extra durability and dirt resistance, and the thin ergonomic design makes you forget about the case during use. A D-ring belt clip ensures the device is instantly accessible and attached securely.
Batteries
Sonim XP8 features a powerful multi-shift battery, but for some professionals, even this may not be sufficient. A battery replacement can last for days. Sonim’s original high-capacity battery provides 800 hours of standby and 35 hours of continuous use. The battery is available in a set with a battery door and screw or separately.
Cables and Chargers
Sonim XP8 charges via USB-C port. An original industrial-grade data and charge cable provides optimal data flow and has the perfect length of five feet.
Fieldwork requires professionals to constantly be on call and ready for action. There’s no time to wait for a device to charge via a low-power cable. Sonim’s wall charger adapter supports Qualcomm Quick Charge technology and fully powers the XP8’s 4900mAh battery in under 2.5 hours. An optimal length of 6.5-foot cable is included in the set.
A power outlet isn’t always available in extreme environments either. Professionals working on the go will find Sonim’s car charger highly useful. It features a Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 USB port with up to 1.5 Ampere output and a second USB port with a maximum output of 2.4 Amperes. The charger is suitable for most 12/24 vat DC power outlets and has a 6.5-foot long cable.
Screen Protectors
Sonim XP8 is equipped with a durable, drop and scratch-resistant display covered with Gorilla Glass. However, even this has limits to the physical damage it can handle. If your XP8’s screen gets damaged, Sonim offers an original replacement. Just like the initially installed protector, the replacement is compatible with gloves and wet fingers. The installation process is simple and doesn’t require professional help.
